Short term laptop rental
Purpose & Eligibility: This program provides one-day access to school laptops for academic purposes to students in grades 6 through 12. Students are limited to a maximum of 5 short-term rentals per school year.
Rental Duration: Laptops must be picked up by 9:30 AM (at the latest by the FLEX period) and must be returned to the IT department by 3:00 PM on the same day.
Request Process: Students must complete a rental request form and present their school ID card at the IT Office to receive a device.
Student Responsibility: Students are fully responsible for the laptop during the rental period. Any damage or loss will result in the loss of future rental privileges, and the student must cover the costs of repairs by an authorized service provider.
Limitations: Students cannot have a short-term and long-term rental simultaneously. Short-term laptops do not include AC adapters as they are intended to hold a charge for the school day.
Long term laptop rental
Purpose & Eligibility: This program offers extended access for a maximum of one semester. Students must provide a valid reason for the request, which is subject to IT department approval.
Parental Approval: A parent or guardian must be aware of the rental and will be contacted by the IT department via email for formal approval.
Request & Diagnostics: Students must complete a long-term request form. Before issuance and upon return, the IT department will perform a full diagnostic check (including display, Wi-Fi, camera, and keyboard) in the student’s presence.
Included Equipment: Every long-term rental includes an AC adapter to ensure the student has a continuous power supply.
Student Responsibility: The student is responsible for the device throughout the semester. If the laptop is lost or broken, the student must pay for authorized servicing, and their rental privileges may be suspended.
Data Disclaimer: The school is not responsible for any data loss; students are encouraged to regularly back up their files to a personal drive or cloud service.
